News for the Day:

1.) Remember, today is CLUB DAY!  Stop by the booths during all four lunches to sign up for clubs.  [I particularly advocate Student Council and DECA Club]   :)

2.) Chromebook Distribution to Remaining Students:

Students who have not received their Chromebook will be called by grade-level to the auditorium beginning at 8:30 today to begin the orientation process - see times below.  You will not receive their Chromebook today. Once again, PLEASE remember that you must bring in the signed Responsible Use agreement and the $25 yearly use fee on Thursday in order to get your Chromebook.

 

• 8:30-8:55AM: any 9th / 10th grader that hasn't received their Chromebook
• 9:00AM-9:25AM: any 11th grader that hasn't received their Chromebook
• 9:50-10:15AM: any 12th grader that hasn't received their Chromebook 

3.) DECA Membership Drive event at WNC Mountain State Fair is next Friday, September 5th.  The cost is $30, and the event will be all day.  This field trip is open to students in Miss Hullett's marketing / business classes who are interested in joining DECA club and who are want to learn more about event marketing, enterprise ideas, identifying regional logos, and more.
