CLASSROOM POLICIES:
- Each class is to prepare you for the working world – be professional at all times.
- Be timely – in your seat, ready to begin when the bell rings.
- Be prepared with notebook, pen/pencil, and charged chromebook every day.
- Demonstrate RESPECT for everyone.
- Be attentive – NO SLEEPING.
- No Profanity.
- Maintain a positive attitude at all times.
- No food, drink, or candy at the computer stations.
- NO cell phone use during instructional time, unless otherwise stated.
- Stay in your seats until the bell rings.
EXPECTATIONS:
- 100% participation & concentration.
- Behave appropriately, showing courtesy to everyone!
- Reach your potential!
- Be responsible for your actions - act the age in which you expect to be treated.
GRADING:
- Tests, Quizzes – 50%
- (*VOCATs final exam counts as 25% of the semester grade)
- Classwork, Projects, Participation – 50%
MATERIALS:
You will need the following every day:
- 3-ring binder
- paper
- pencil / pen
- fully-charged chromebook
ABSENCES:
You will have three (3) days after an excused absence to complete work. After that period anything missing will be counted as a zero. Professional companies do not tolerate excessive tardies or absences, so prepare accordingly now.
Remember it is YOUR responsibility to find out what assignments were missed. I will not follow you around, eagerly searching for your missing make-up work!
